I'm not one for sitting here and writing a Bio from the third-person perspective, as if I've had some illustrious career and have an entire crew of people to do this for me, so I'm writing it myself!

Also a little disclaimer, 'Sovereign King' was always intended to be a band name, but since I've forever stayed a solo artist, it's become my stage name. Not a name to describe myself.

I was born 21st March 1988. I've loved music ever since I can remember. Michael Jackson was and still is my biggest inspiration, with 'Thriller' being the first record I ever learned how to place on a Vinyl player and listen to.

My earliest memories of loving guitar-heavy music, was when I used to watch Bill and Ted's Bogus Adventure, almost every single morning before school. I was only around 6-7 years old and the feeling I got hearing Kiss' cover of 'God Gave Rock 'N Roll To You (Part II)' at the end, will never leave me.

It always left me yearning to go to the place where these heavenly melodies came from. I'm convinced this feeling was the Universe planting the seeds for my destiny. This feeling would always draw me to the sound or even the look of a guitar.

There was shades of my love for Metal and distorted guitars already brewing with the endless re-listens I'd make of songs like 'Beat It',  'Dirty Diana' and 'Give In to Me' by Michael Jackson. Also during my obsession the boy-band 5ive with their 'Everybody Get Up' song, which borrowed the forever-exciting main riff of 'I Love Rock 'N Roll' by Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.

When I heard that riff for the first time in 5ive's version, I got that unexplainable feeling in my gut again. It had so much attitude and electricity, but I was still too young to realise it was the guitar making me feel that way.

That feeling would comeback again when hearing The Cranberries being played at home, specifically 'Zombie', with it's grungey guitars and dark lyrical themes.

As the teenage years hit and ubrideled vitriol started flowing through my veins, I finally discovered Heavy Metal. Old school Pro Wrestling (I'm talking 'WWF Attitude' days) entrance music was everything I was searching for.

Stone Cold's entrance music lit a fire in me. Same for the Rock's entrance music and not to mention intro music to Raw and Smackdown!, I was HOOKED.

Around this time of discovering Pro Wrestling, my best mate in school, Jamie, brought in a tape of the first 'Slipknot' album (which his uncle gave him) and the rest is history. I then discovered Limp Bizkit, Puddle of Mudd, Nickelback and most importantly... KORN. 

Once I found Korn, I fell in love with Fieldy's bass sound so much, that I grew a desire to learn and play Bass. Once I got one, I had fun, but found it hard to dial in what Fieldy was doing (for many obvious reasons to me now, that I had no clue of back then)

By this time, 2004 had rolled around and Slipknot was about to drop their next album. Suddenly 'Duality' dropped out of nowhere. As soon as I heard the guitars in that song, my desire to play Bass disappeared and I was desperate to play electric guitar instead.

Been playing ever since. I used to sing in the choir at school, so I learned pretty early on how to sing. The more Grunge-inspired vocals and screams didn't come until Slipknot's 'Gray Chapter' dropped in 2015. 

I was determined to learn how to scream like Corey Taylor, who is easily my biggest vocal inspiration. In that journey of attempting to imitate him, I found my own voice.

I've been posting guitar covers since 2006 (starting on YouTube) and I started doing vocal covers in 2011 (briefly with a 'Somewhat Damaged - NIN cover) then properly in 2014 with a cover of 'Devil In I' by Slipknot.

I had a brief adventure in the world of Hardstyle that started in 2017, lasting until 2023. Many of the songs I wrote and co-wrote were very successful, and landed me with my first ever time peforming on stage, which was to a sold-out crowd at the AFAS Arena in Amsterdam in 2018 for Warface's 'Live For This' event. 

Not being entirely happy with how my performance sounded, I've been on a journey ever since to improve my live performances and vocal abilities, which is what gave way to live streaming. 

I started streaming to next to nobody on YouTube in 2021 and just thought, if I'm going to be jamming by myself, I might as well have the cameras rolling.

2025 that all changed when I was able to finally broadcast a stream from TikTok (thanks to the ReStream service) and through the entire year, I was amassing on average of 7,000 - 8,000 followers a month.

I reached 100K followers on TikTok, New Years Eve of 2025, and as of writing, now on 145K.

My first ever EP 'We All Live In Hell' was released in March 2026.
